A complete steering angle kit for BMW E9x and E8x models, designed specifically for drifting.
Compatibility
The kit fits the following BMW models:
-
F80
-
F82
-
F87
Overview
The kit provides a maximum steering angle of up to 65°
To reduce the overall cost without compromising handling characteristics, the kit utilizes the factory BMW steering knuckles. Precision CNC-machined billet adapters are mounted to the original knuckles, converting them into a single-ball-joint design.
The result is a lightweight, durable, and easy-to-install steering angle kit, perfectly suited for both practice cars and professional drift competition vehicles.
The maximum achievable steering angle depends on wheel size, tire width, wheel offset (ET), suspension geometry, and steering lock limiter adjustment.

Suspension Geometry Adjustment
Both the lower control arms and tension rods feature continuous length adjustment, allowing precise suspension setup.
Ackermann geometry is adjusted using interchangeable locking plates. The plates can be replaced quickly without removing the entire kit, making it easy to adapt the steering characteristics to different tracks and driving styles.
Adjustable Steering Lock Limiter
The kit is equipped with an adjustable steering lock limiter, allowing the steering range to be precisely matched to the wheel, tire and suspension setup.
The limiter allows you to:
-
prevent tire contact with the fenders and bodywork,
-
prevent wheel interference with control arms or other suspension components,
-
reduce loads applied to the steering rack at maximum steering angle,
-
protect tie rod ends, spherical bearings and steering components from excessive stress,
-
fine-tune the maximum steering angle for individual vehicle configurations.
Billet CNC Steering Knuckle Adapters
The steering knuckle adapters are precision CNC-machined from PA4 aluminum alloy.
They convert the factory steering knuckle into a single-ball-joint design while maintaining correct suspension geometry and providing exceptional rigidity under extreme steering angles.
Upper Relocators (Camber Plates)
The kit includes a pair of upper camber plates allowing precise adjustment of the MacPherson strut position.
For proper operation, the suspension must be equipped with upper thrust bearings.
The spherical bearing (uniball) used in the camber plate is not designed to carry rotational loads. Rotating the suspension solely on the uniball would significantly increase steering resistance and accelerate wear of suspension components.
Compatible coilover brands equipped with thrust bearings include:
-
YellowSpeed
-
ISC Suspension
-
BC Racing
-
Lines Racing
-
MaxpeedingRods
If your suspension does not include upper thrust bearings, suitable upper spring perches are also available in our offer.
Installation
Installation requires no cutting, welding or chassis modifications.
The kit uses the original BMW tie rods. Extended tie rod adapters with spherical bearings (uniballs) are included and are designed to work with our billet steering knuckle adapters.
Materials
Only high-quality structural materials are used throughout the kit.
Steering knuckle adapters
-
CNC-machined PA4 aluminum alloy
Control arms and welded components
-
S355 structural steel
Adjustment and threaded components
-
C45 steel
-
42CrMo4 alloy steel
The combination of carefully selected materials provides excellent rigidity while keeping overall weight to a minimum.
Manufacturing
The entire kit is designed and manufactured in Poland.
All aluminum components are CNC-machined from solid billet material. We do not use cast components or materials of unknown origin.
Every component is manufactured from certified materials with known mechanical properties, ensuring excellent quality, repeatability and long-term durability. Replacement parts are available separately.
