We present the second version of our kit for BMW E9x/E8x, delivering maximum traction and allowing full use of power without the need for spacers or risking drivetrain components.
MacPherson-type shock absorbers are required as well as M3-type lower shock mounts.
The mounting bolt is placed horizontally. In standard models, the lower shock mount uses a rubber bushing which cannot be installed here.
The kit is widened by 85mm per side. This eliminates the need for wheel spacers.
Recommended wheel parameters:
18″ 10.5j ET0 to ET20
With ET0 wheels, the total width equals our front kit with 18″ 8.5j ET30 wheels (measured at the bottom of the wheel).
V2 kit is much lighter than our first kit for BMW E9x/E8x.
The weight difference is as much as 8.5kg while maintaining full strength.
8 arms are fully adjustable, allowing every parameter to be set.
The 2 arms that hold the shock absorbers are non-adjustable by design. This ensures no one goes beyond safe adjustment ranges, guaranteeing each uniball retains a proper threaded section engaged in the arm sleeve.
The knuckles allow adjustment of toe arm and lower traction rod geometry under load.
The kit provides excellent traction and even tire wear.
Knuckles include mounts for 2 stock brake calipers per wheel from E90, E91, E92, E81, E82, E87.
As a budget option, we recommend brakes from the E9x 335D version.
We removed M-Power type brake mounts.
Due to the widened rear axle, differential-side axle adapters are required.
The kit does not include adapters because too many differentials were used across these BMW models.
The kit is designed for wheel bearings and hubs from BMW E60, with 30-spline hubs.
Wheel bearings and hubs are not included.
Thanks to E60 bearings, trackside service is much easier, as the wheel hub bolts to the knuckle with 4 bolts.
While designing this kit, we aimed to reduce unsprung mass as much as possible.
Even all the upper arm adjustments are mounted from the subframe side.
