Reinforced, modular rear subframe for BMW E36, designed to accept a BMW E65 differential.

Developed with drift and motorsport applications in mind, this rear subframe focuses on increased rigidity, improved suspension geometry options and better access to the drivetrain and suspension components.

The modular differential mounting system makes installation and removal of the differential straightforward and also allows other differentials to be fitted by changing or adapting the differential mounting module.

The subframe also features additional suspension arm mounting points, allowing the suspension geometry to be changed from the factory configuration. Relocating the upper arm mount higher and the lower arm mount lower significantly changes the rear suspension kinematics and helps reduce rear camber gain throughout suspension travel. This gives you much more freedom when setting up the rear suspension for a specific car and driving style.

Unlike the factory E36 rear subframe, this design is intended for solid mounting directly to the chassis, without rubber bushings. The factory rear subframe studs must be removed and replaced with the bolts supplied with the kit.

Another major advantage is the increased clearance around the driveshafts/axles, providing more room around the differential and making drivetrain installation easier. The redesigned layout also provides much better access to the suspension arm mounting bolts, making setup, adjustment and servicing considerably easier.

The subframe is compatible with both OEM BMW E36 suspension arms and aftermarket arms, as well as our complete rear suspension setup.
