E36 / E30

A budget-friendly kit for BMW E30 and E36. The kit is designed to be used with OEM BMW E36 steering knuckles. The steering angle adapters feature adjustable Ackermann and adjustable steering lock stops. In the lower part of the kit, the only OEM component used is the tie rod. To reduce production costs, we designed an adapter that connects the factory tie rod to the uniball in the knuckle adapter.

We limited the maximum achievable steering angle to 57 degrees in order to avoid stressing the OEM components and the connection between the adapter and the knuckle. The connection between the knuckle and the adapter is made using double-flanged tapered sleeves, which completely eliminate play and prevent the mounting bolts from loosening due to rubbing between the adapter and knuckle surfaces — a common issue in products from other manufacturers.

Both the control arms and the adapters are CNC-machined, which significantly reduces weight while maintaining high stiffness. Without camber plates, the wheel camber angle falls within –4.5° to –5°, depending on vehicle ride height. A lower vehicle will naturally result in more negative camber.

The rear control arm mounting and the control arm itself are identical to the components used in the Billet PRO kit, providing fast and convenient caster adjustment.

The kit includes:

• 2 aluminum knuckle adapters — 1.3 kg each

• 2 tie-rod end adapters — 0.15 kg each

• 2 adjustable rear control arm mounts — 0.65 kg each

• 2 steel control arms — 4 kg each

• 1 Ackermann adjustment shim set — 0.1 kg

• 1 lower reinforcement plate for the control arm mounting points — 1.35 kg

• 2 bolts for mounting the steering rack

The OEM brake lines are too short.
Other than upgraded brake lines, the kit does not require any additional parts. It can be used with OEM shocks as well as coilover suspension. The kit does not require relocating the upper shock mount.
